Ethan Mbappé, a midfielder for the French club Lille, has been handed a three-match suspension in the Champions League, reports RMC Sport, citing UEFA.

The 19-year-old French footballer received a straight red card during a first-round match of the Champions League league phase against Real Betis (which ended in a 2–3 defeat).

Consequently, Ethan Mbappé will miss the Champions League fixtures against Arsenal (London), Galatasaray (Turkey), and Bodø/Glimt (Norway).
